My husband and I went to Le Coliseum with our 6 and 9 year old based on tripadvisor. It looks a bit tacky from outside with a big yellow plastic sign, so we probably wouldn't have tried it if we hadn't seen the reviews. The children were very happy with the kids menu, they had pizza and icecream with a sweet 'surprise' necklace and frisbee. My husband and I both ate from the set menu which was very godo value - i had the goats cheese starter and pizza for main and was happy with both, though not bowled over. My husband had the mussels / moules in the cream sauce however, and was raving about the sauce. So a very pleasant evening overall.
We are here early one evening (7.30) by the time we were leaving 9.30 the place was full. We received a very friendly welcome. Menu is quite varied. Lovely pizzas and delicious homemade chips. Nice salads etc.too. Service was not great unfortunately the night we were there. We waited quite a while for our meal and when it arrived it wasn't quite the right order. Normally I've heard that the service is good here - I don't know. They cater for all, families, couples, babies etc.
Very average, a pity about setting a server. I had a steak, it was terrible quality. Children had mainly pizza. My main thing was when the male server delivered the food he told us that the children did not waste the oil on the table as it was expensive. Now they hadn't touched it yet! Very rude and cheeky. Very disappointing
We are here on our last night in St Jean de Monts and we were disappointed we hadn't eaten here before. It's v child friendly and it was buzzing the evening in July we were there with people queuing to get in. Food was lovely as was wine. Recommend this place for families, kids got a Fresbie and sweets as part of kids menu.

We were on La Grand Roue and afterwards wanted something tasty but quick to eat. We dropped in and the Maitre D was lovely and we were seating quickly. We had Moules, chicken, burgers and drinks and each dish was tasty and served quickly. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
Had a nice meal here with family. Food was served fairly quickly also. Had a large outdoor eating area. Offered menus in English which was a great help. Very friendly staff and a great range of food available. Would definitely recommend and will most likely go back again.
We visited Le Coliseum twice and both times you could not fault the meal and service. We visited with our two children aged 4 & 11 who throughly enjoyed their kids meal, dessert and complimentary toys and sweets. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.
We arrived after 2pm and they were only serving Pizza. Must be a French thing where not much is served after 2pm?? Had a nice Pizza and would recommend it. Kids enjoyed theirs also.

The food was okay not bad but not the top , it was a busy place and we had a nice evening but not posh nosh a typical holiday eating place.
Ate here twice during our stay. Staff welcoming and friendly. Food was fairly good and the pizzas very good.
