we stumbled over le cote jardin halfway through a long day of bike in the Provence. we appeared unexpectedly in oregon to 1 hour hot and thirsty. it was a quiet city with a sleepy quiet, hanging in the air. we were not hopeless to find somewhere. to eat. there were some local bars that did not appeal and then we stumbled over le cote jardin. it appeared closed, but when we climbed down the stairs we entered a nice cool room. there were some other diners. the waitress was charming and comprehensible not much English, but immediately we made our welcome. that was delicious. my wife had an salat bowl with the aromen asiens and I had an exquisite moussaka with local lamb. we could not resist the...

This is by far the best dining experience we've had whilst in France and thanks also to Clem and Brigatta our Air BB hosts who recommended this restaurant. The food was flavoursome. Our host, Bettina, was very helpful. We ordered the chef's 3 course meal... €23 per person. The courgette entree was a fine starter followed by a tagliatelle seafood mix brilliantly presented on the plate. Our dessert comprised of fruit salad with natural syrup sorbet and coconut crumble. early in the season on a Tuesday night we were the only few there. the menu was very appealing and very favorable. there was a large laundry plate to share that we tried to eat instead of single appetizers, 2 fish and 2 bark options...for the main course one d several desserts including a very original offer of tarte tatin. for the three they offered a formula price of €28. the food was excellent, beautiful (also artistic) presented and the hostess was well entertained at all suitable times. we would not have had a nice evening.
