Le Crepiot - Table reservation

Good food; pleasant atmosphere; friendly staff. Just needed somewhere to eat for the one night we were in St Aignan before going to Beauval the next day, and we were perfectly satisfied with menu and prices. It was a warm Sunday evening with threat of rain, so decided to go inside rather than on the terrace, where you have to weigh up whether you can put up with cars passing to get cooler air. With hindsight, I'd have preferred the terrace, as inside only has a portable air conditioner and Sunday evening traffic was light. Not sure how pleasant the terrace would be on a busy weekday though. We noticed other restaurants were closed on Sunday and Le Crepiot filled up quickly, so best to book a...

Ate here twice with my parents, there wasn't much else open near our gite.. Staff very helpful and obliging.(my father is disabled). My mother had the duck both nights and was pleased with it. We had entrecote steak which was very ordinary. The second evening we had the cheeseburgers which were enormous platefuls. The house wine was good. Overall it was ok but nothing special and fairly expensive for this type of food.

We ate here as there was very little open on a Monday evening. It was not good. The mushrooms with cheese were raw and the duck not properly cooked. 2 of the party enjoyed their entrecote steaks. The sauces were not homemade. The restaurant itself is right on a busy road. All in all not an enjoyable experience.

We have visited this restaurant several times and taken our friends and family. They all agree that there is a very nice atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff. A very good menu with something for everyone. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had our dinner in this restaurant with our 2 kids and food was delicious & service was excellent.
