Le Cyrano - Table reservation

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick drink while walking in Deauville on a beautiful Saturday. We were looking for a table when the waiter came to us and mumbled something to us which we didn't hear due to the street noise. He then asked again somewhat irritated if we wanted to drink something, to which we answered yes. We sat at our table for about ten minutes and he never came by-the classic stereotype of the French cafe waiter who ignores you if you don't know exactly what you want when he comes by. We have previously eaten lunch here but tend to target it particularly for breakfast as they do some great options pastries as well as eggs etc. Coffee and hot chocolate are excellent. The price for the breakfast 'formula ' is 3 euros a head cheaper than in the centre of Deauville, less than 5 minutes ' walk away! Service is friendly and the ambience is typically French with lots of locals enjoying a morning coffee with a newspaper or chatting with friends. You can usually park outside on the street, even in high season (and it 's free).

Located just across a small park this is the ideal place to relax while you eat a good breakfast. A lot of locals and that's alway a good sign. Food is good and service is perfect. We will come back here for breakfast again.

Kind of tasteless food. Cappuccino was horrible. You even had to pay to go to the bathroom as a paying customer.

Not too expensive at lunch time and during the week. Home cooked food. very nice personnel. Good quality
