Le Den Cafe - Table reservation

This was a last-minute decision since our first choice was closed. I checked Trip Advisor and there were excellent reviews for this unassuming restaurant so off the four of us went. It was sooooo good; sandwiches & soups were delicious and they had some gluten-free bread for me which was better than I can get in many, many more places that cost $$$ times more than it did here. The service is as good as their food - the staff was super-friendly and helpful, funny and cheerful, and we did not feel rushed even though we stayed there over an hour. Went to Le Den to meet some old friends from Pointe Claire who suggested it for lunch. Very unassuming both inside and out but the simple menu has great lunch fare and lots of specials. The proprietor is Chinese so he offered won-ton soup which was delicious and then we all had sandwiches for various types, all of which were served on their own home-made bread. The lattes were served beautifully and were very tasty as well. Great value for money so I will go back!

Pas chère et comme si on était à la maison. Choux de pain pour les sandwiches. Repas complet à moins de 10$. Service courtois et efficace. Seul le café expresso est ordinaire. Je considérerais une meilleure machine si j'étais le propriétaire. J'y retournerez assurément

Fresh, fresh, fresh! The owners are the nicest couple you could meet, the staff are terrific and the food is super fresh and delicious! For breakfast or lunch this is the place to go. Very casual, very tasty and a nice selection. Try the hot and sour soup!
