OK, I'll admit that Arras was busy on the night. The restaurant however was not, there were several spare tables, many inside and two outside where we wanted to be - it was a warm evening, Arras was 'en fete' and we wanted to be able to get a feel of the ambience. No one to greet us, but hey ho, asking at the bar we were sort of offered a shrug at a table outside. A nice small, intimate terasse with a good position. Eventually a waitress appeared and laid the table and brought the menus and wine list.It took almost thirty minutes for a different waiter to arrive for our order, at no point in-between was there any interest in dealing with us whatsoever despite repeated eye contact. Lovely restaurant, suited us well, but beware that this restaurant menue is limited to Fois Gras and Duck, usually cooked some way with Fois Gras. Our meal was really nice and we discovered that our 5 year old grandson really likes Fois Gras and Duck. The wine list was good, atmosphere good. The staff was very attentive, although when it started getting busy, i felt they were a little short staffed, but this is not a complaint, I am just a moaning restaurant owner that is always picking faults with restaurants including my own.I would go back as all the food we ate was very well cooked and tasy. The restaurant is central and near our hotel the Hotel de L'Universe, see write up on hotel sep.

We had an overnight stay in Arras and chose this restaurant. It looked cosy and we could take the dog in which was a bonus. (although I know you can do this in most French restaurants) The staff were really friendly and helpful. They brought water for the dog and took photos for us so we could all fit in one picture. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. My husband's favourite food so he was happy. We would definitely return

Cosy and pleasantly decorated restaurant. The Foie Gras (mainly duck) was very good and the Duck main dishes were equally very good. The selection of wines was good and our overall lunch experience was very enjoyable. The restaurant was full and the service was on the slow side.
