I had a nice evening in this restaurant. to begin there had a lot of parking space and the spatial areas were cleverly illuminated, which gave a good impression on the now dark autumn evening. when entering the restaurant I was greeted by a charming host who showed me to my table. although he spoke prefect English he gave me the confidence to use my not so prefect French and was very committed to the whole evening. finally eating that was excellent! You wouldn't normally rush to a converted house (with pool in the front) on the fringes of an industrial estate far from the centre of Bordeaux but.... I have eaten here several times over recent years and have always been pleasantly surprised by the experience....The chef has a quirky approach to things which means well executed dishes appear with a twist on the norm latest was shrimp served on a bbq on a plate yes I know but trust me it's true and it was delightful. There is a relaxed atmosphere consistent with being in someone's front room and charming service. The more I go the more I like it.

Driving through Bordeaux we just stumbled upon a sign on the road as we very getting hungry. As so often when you don't expect anything special you are surprised. In what looks like a private home , sitting beside the pool we enjoyed an excellent...gourmet meal with friendly service. Typical food for the area but prepared with pride. The cafe gourmand , a selection with several mini desserts is an excellent close to a fine meal.

really nice dinner. we have a 3-course menu. great hake, just fall apart. very well presented and very friendly owners and staff. a few moskitos (hard, but they love me) over outside and they even had a basket of fuel and creams, what. a nice note! now you think of the customers!
