We had an incredible lunch on a busy day. The server (perhaps the wife of the chef? clearly had her hands full, but couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. Though it was a tad windy, we chose to sit outside on the terrace, which is absolutely lovely, to enjoy the setting....it was very peaceful indeed. The food and wine are very special and every effort was made to accommodate our 4 year old (she loved the beef stew! . An incredibly afternoon of Corsican fine dining and hospitality.

Second time I come here and the food is simply exceptional, using local products only local like from the valley itself the chef reinvents traditional recipes with a creative touch and grande cuisine know how. The experience is unique, off the beaten tracks in this lovely garden lost in a charming valley. I loved the Foie de veau, trippes clémentines , I cannot wait to go back there and experience the reste of the carte made around Vache tigrée veal. A hidden gem in the heart of Corsica.

My boyfriend and I had a great evening at Le Frere. The road up to the restaurant is very unassuming but we were lucky we ventured here the setting is stunning, with seating under outdoor canopies, next to cork oaks, and the outdoor BBQ cooking (not to mention the resident fox wandering around! . Lovely service, a trip highlight! and the food excellent a true farm to table experience.

Owner and his wife gave us a warm welcome. Setting us in the country and very charming. The only thing on menu is veal, as the owners brother is a producer. There was veal loin and veal rib steak on menu , but they had none which was odd because his brother produces it! The meal was very good nonetheless. Dessert was ok nothing special. Wine was very good.
