Summer outdoor dining on a small square in the heart of the medieval city...what could be better other than an inexpensive three course lunch which was tasty and presented nicely. For 15 euros I enjoyed a small salad with warm chevre toasts, perfectly roasted and...juicy duck cutlets with a version of frites, a dessert of two profiteroles with fudge sauce and cream, and a glass of rosé. The place was busy, primarily with tourists, but that's to be expected when really hot weather keeps the locals inside. we have applied for lunch. the 13 Euro menu. the starter was a beautiful goat cheese and smoked entensalat. we had both steak and bratkartoffeln for the main thing. the steak melted in the mouth, it was cooked to perfection. we had. cream and chocolate pudding. both are excellent. together with a karaffe rosen it was one of the best meal we had for one. the waiter was kind with a sense of humor. I don't understand the bad evaluation.
A rainy day in Perigueux and the medieval guided walk brings you past this Creperie. Nicely decorated and clearly a favourite with the locals. The food is fresh, excellent and generous portions. A great cafe liegois was also on offer. Service was good and I...would rate this as a good lunch stop if you do not want a full scale meal.
great eating very friendly excellent service and prices beautiful duck menu. very pleasant opposite in the historic city of Perigueux. would recommend a trip here we were in airbnb, excellent.
