I’ve been on site less than 4 hours but I can already tell you that you cannot go wrong. I have stayed in the craziest 5 star Four Seasons or the 2 star who try the hardest. I have traveled the world for work on a variety of budgets, expectations etc. Everything from calling to book to arriving , dining, being in the room- i can already tell you that this place and the people who come here- it is all so great. Anne who seems to do everything here is beyond exceptional. Truly a great place and am very glad i will be here several more days. The restaurant as well!!
Great location on the quay. We went there years ago and found it pretentious. We tried again on a recommendation and were disappointed, which is a shame because the chef is clearly brilliant. There was a cool welcome and we waited ten minutes before anyone offered us anything, even a menu. Some staff were friendly, but not all, especially not “la patronne”. Not a lot of atmosphere, but the food almost makes up for it. If you go in a party it might not matter so much, but there’s something about French restaurants trying to be smart that leaves one cold.
The food is very good, we had diffetent entrees, foie gras,langoustines etc etc For the main course i chose,half a lobster. To be very frank,i had exactly 2 bites from the lobster,it was sooo small,that it should have never been in my plate to start with. For 29 €, i should have had much more But because it's summer,and tourists are around,they think they can lurr the locals. Too bad!
The Service was really great. The whole crew worked perfectly together hand in hand. It all seemt very professional. The food was good and they paid attention to the arranging. Lobster was very fresh.
