"This was a lovely meal on a Monday night. My snails and 7 hour cooked lamb were excellent. English menu available ... Though we didn't need it!"

We have dined at Le Jabron many times, and have found the food, the service and the ownerto be exceptional...what a lot of French small restaurants used to be....good quality foodmade from Scratch at a reasonable price. We had lunch last week, and at a modest price of $12.50 for a 3 course meal including Café!The appetizer was a selection on a small buffet of very freshly made salads, good quality charcuterie, and always something hot...last week it was a slice of fresh goat cheese on a bed of dried tomatoin a petite fold of thin crisp phyllo dough...I don't know how the chef got everything hot, crisp andnot drooling out of the pocket, but it was fabulous!!My husband had the sautéed Lamb...sma...

This is a very unassuming place on the side of the road in town, but don't be fooled by the rather non-descript outer appearance.Value and quality of food is excellent. We both took a menu for ~25 EUR, and this gave us three delicious courses.I believe the dining room has recently been renovated, and was very pleasant and clean.Staff were efficient and friendly and are clearly working hard to make this place a success. It was a delight to eat here, and if we hadn't found other restaurants (honestly there were not many in the area recommended by our hotel owner), we would certainly have gone back a second time.

Excellent restaurant! Great ambiance, exquisit food, good service (the staff also speak English), everything in a very cosy ambiance and at very a reasonable price (25 euros for a 4 course dinner).

Typical French restaurant with varied food and wines. Charming setting with a terrace over viewing river and nearby hills. Very affordable. Excellent service.
