Le Karelian - Table reservation

My wife and I drove here from our nearby holiday home for lunch. Dommartin is a tatty village, and the restaurant car park is no better, but the building is attractive and the good impressions continue when one enters the smart reception area, surrenders overcoats and mounts the few stairs in the nicely decorated and modern dining room. We started with an interesting aperitif Alsacian sparkling wine, Cointreau, grapefruit juice and blackberry liqueur. Yummy! We both chose the Menu Gourmand at Euro 38. The amuses bouches were followed by a fennel wanna cotta with green aniseed, vegetables and haddock fillet a very unusual dish which worked perfectly for both of us. This was followed by grille...

Very nice experience. One of the best gourmet restaurants in the region. Home and service very pro, the boss is classy, without being pinched. The dishes are well studied, there is research, beautiful associations and the products are excellent. From the beginning to the end, I was very satisfied by the different dishes and delighted by the choice of desserts... Everything is good and nothing is left to the danger, in coffee, that one chooses on the map and it is a real good coffee. I highly recommend to those who love gourmet restaurants.
