After two weeks of excellent food and service in the restaurants of Portiragnes and Portiragnes Plage we happened upon this place after a windy morning on the beach. Shocking. We arrived more than half an hour before the kitchen was due to close and made sure to ask for a table for two adults and two kids. We were pointed to a table by a surly member of staff. Before the afternoon was done she had slopped wine over the table and found someone else to take the order. She did enjoy her cigarette though after settling herself down on the other side of the restaurant, when finally she broke her face. If you want to sit down around 5 p.m. to eat an ice cream or a crepe. Go on your way!! We waited 15 minutes to order. We ordered an ice cream and a chocolate crepe. Once served, the crepe was cold!! And as a bonus since it was cold, it was rubbery! the waiter served a milkshake instead of the ordered ice cream. We couldn't say anything because we stayed 15 minutes waiting for a waiter in the dining room!! So we ate what was served to us. €2 discount for the fact that the server made a mistake. This place is across the street from the beach though the water is not visible. Our food was good though not amazing. No one in my group had the Pizza but that seemed popular and looked good. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the swordfish in coconut sauce. Lots of families. This is walkable from the canal fu midi if you moor by the bridge.
Visited Le KF 3 times over the summer and have always received a friendly welcome from the staff, no matter how busy it got. Food is excellently cooked and good value. Wines in carafe are from the local excellent value Cave coop in Portiragnes Village. Hope to be able to get one more visit in before they close for the season at the end of September

Since almost everything in Portiragnes was closed at the end of September, we chose to dine at Le KF. We each ordered a pizza that we both felt was possibly the BEST pizza I had ever tasted! I would highly recommend Le KF. It's to the right of the entrance to Hotel Le Mirador
My wife and I eat at KF once during our Holiday, the local speciality Moules Fries for me and my Wife had Pasta. Both meals were really tasty, washed down with local Rose, and great friendly service, but be aware it is France, and almost every other table was smoking !
Nice spot to stop for lunch after a morning on the beach. We had pizzas (very good and seafood (so-so . Service friendly and efficient (and it’s ‘service compris’ . Bill for four adults’ mains and two kids’ menus, with water only, came to 74 euros

We were staying near buy and visited Le KF. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere was really nice with a mix of families and couples. The service was great and we would recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Reasonably priced. Food was fine. In front of Hotel Mirador. Good menu but not an expensive gourmand restaurant.
