We ate here three times and each time the food was delicious. The cuisse de canard was perfectly cooked and tender and the fish had a piquant sauce with wild rice. Entrees and puddings were equally good the terrine with crevettes was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked, the tarte tatin was just as it should be while all flavours of both ice cream and sorbet (I tried nearly all) were sharp and delicious. Try the Menu Perigordoise, with entree and plat du jour changing each day you won't be disappointed! This chef obviously knows his business. Why eat anywhere else?
Apparently this restaurant has new owners. The food was excellent 2 fixed price menus I had the 26 euro and my husband the 36 euro Both of you thoroughly enjoyed the food. Also the wine was pleasant and reasonably priced. The only downside is the restaurant itself. It's quite large with lots of tables. When we were there there were only 6 tables occupied which left (probably) another 20 odd empty. I'm sure the new owners will address this problem I hope so as the food was excellent.
Charmant hôtel familial dans la commune de Montignac, à deux pas en voiture du site qui porte son nom. Petit mais cosy grâce à ses propriétaires. La chambre familiale est spacieuse et tout confort. Nous n'avons pas testé la table. Idéal donc pour faire étape avant ou après la visite de la grotte, sans se ruiner.
Belle découverte à Montignac . Cet établissement vient d'être repris par un jeune couple sympathique et accueillant.Carte très variée .Nous recommandons le filet de daurade aux petits légumes accompagné d'un vin blanc de Bergerac: Super! Nous reviendrons.
