Le Lieurey - Table reservation

Called in for lunch, following friends ' recommendation. Pleasant welcome from the proprietor and a short explanation of the lunchtime menu which consisted of a buffet style entree, a choice of several main courses and a range of desserts. Wine and coffee were also included...in the price of 13 euros, representing excellent value. The buffet offered a wide choice of dishes patés, salads (both vegetarian and seafood) eggs etc etc. We sampled several all were very fresh. We both chose parmentier de canard forestiere for our main course, which was very tasty. Desserts were a creme brulée (rather ordinary) and a chocolate mousse, which was excellent. we visited a meal during the stay in lieurey and were very glad that we. the starterbuffet was new and very tasty. a lot to try. the most important courses were wonderful, the steak was tender and very tasty. also fantastic, the cream Brûlée was...wonderful the host was very amenable, recommended a beautiful local beer and the local calvados was a nice additional note. Excuse them the late review, but thank you again for the beautiful meal and if we are ever back in the opposite, we will be back!

we ate twice in this restaurant in this summer and found eating well cooked and delicious. the starterbuffet offers a good selection of typical French entrees. the choices of net included meat and fish, but no veggie option. service was fast and very good.

We use this restaurant for most of our groups, Jeremy is really helpful and the food plus the service is always good, Great Lunch menu.

we all had the menu at 19,90 € chips were nice, but apart from that it was all quite poor.
