Our 2nd visit to Le Jardin du Martinez started a bit confusing because the host didn’t want to sit us just for appetizers and wine, only for “big plates” as she stated. So when I responded that we will order the “big plates” she had to “check with the kitchen” if they were still serving food. This is 9:30pm. Another waiter came by and asked if he could help us so I explained and he just sat us at a table and at the same time the hostess came with her “ok” and brought menus.
