Very interesting range of dishes for the 3 course set menu which included several we had not experienced before. Figs being in season featured in several including a great desert of profiteroles with fig ice cream. Starter of goats cheese wrapped in thin slices of...aubergine was also delicious. Only one dish missed the mark which was fish stuffed with vegetables but very bland and lacking in seasoning. Service good. Not the most luxurious of interiors with tables that might be better in motorway service cafe but the food makes this still a place to try.
We had visited before on previous years so knew the food is good. The menu is a little limited, but unless you are a very fussy eater, there is sufficient to chose from. It doesn;t seem to do as much business as other restaurants in...the same area not really sure why that is. Overall it is very good. Staff are efficient, but could be a little friendlier.
The three course menu EUR 30 is limited having 4 choices for each course but seem to cover most tastes Between the two of us we had 6 different dishes and all were delicious and.well presented and delivered with good service The menu is changed...each month.
We come to Saint Remy every other year and always come back to Le Marilyn for dinner. We love the 3 course meal and the fact there is a choice for each dish. Food is always good and the wines are great.
