"The food is generally good but no longer occasionally outstanding. The choices have been restricted to just 2 mains at lunch which can be a major disappointment if neither appeal."

Lovely setting with tables outside by the pool and quite frankly a very positive service. Starters were OK but nothing special so we were looking forward to our main dish of La Lotte which I believe is angler fish and this really was a major let down as other than the tomatoes and the bacon, the fish had little to no taste and a somewhat rubbery texture. I am not sure if it was the fish itself or the way it was cooked but to eat something with so little taste really doesn 't serve any purpose other than food as fuel and I don 't need to go to a restaurant to get fuelled up . So, lovely setting, good service but very uneventful and dull food.

And in the middle of nowhere is where I wanted to be! 20 minutes from Avignon...40 from Mt. Ventoux. No crowds, just good food .....and rooms. Locally sourced organic when possible.... Not shy with meat (which Frenchman/woman is? ...but willing to make vegetarian extras. And not shy with foreigners! They only speak French but will do everything possible to get the point across. They are there for the restaurant and want you to be too. Don't be shy.... Get in there, have a great meal.

Food was very good, and good value for the quality served. Location is lovely, and we sat outside on a perfect summer evening. Service was OK, not great. Similar to another reviewer we got the feeling that non-French customers were not particularly welcome.

Very nice ambiance, the food is good, a trifle expensive compared to local bistro type restaurants. I would visit in the summer more than winter, as the outdoor space is very attractive.
