We, my husband and our two friends, called there for a late morning coffee but were so impressed by the look of the food when the lunch service began that we decided to return after a bit of sightseeing. We arrived back at 2.30pm and we were pleased to find that the Plat de Jour was still available. This turned out to be the best meal of our holiday. Neil (husband) and I had steak in a green peppercorn sauce. The sauce was served in a little pot so you could use as much or as little as you wanted but it was so good we both ate it all. Crispy, delicious, frites and a substantial salad also came with the meal as well as bread rolls. We chose the apple flan for dessert and this was beautifully...
Perfect no English spoken , €14 set meal , steak au poirve , chocolate mousse and a coffee , 50cl of house wine €10 , just right to set you up for the ferry home , liked the smoking area for those who wanted to , and the fact they set tables for one , great atmosphere , a little French goes a long way , just don't expect any English spoken and should you expect any !! Menue is more varied if you fancy spending more
We had a lovely meal at this little restaurant / bar in Dunquerke France. The food was of a very good standard, freshly cooked and plenty of it. We waited about 40 mins which was great and it was very reasonable priced. If you are looking for good food this is your place. It was our second visit to the bar this year and we would definitely recommend it and go again.
We had lunch here - my sons were happy with the children's menu selection and we enjoyed traditional French cuisine on their menu du jour. Appeared to be a popular place with the locals as it was very busy and had friendly service.
