Considering street vendors with old vans at concerts, race tracks, festivals can cook hot, bubbled crispy dough based 'real' pizza in a field, then this place should think again about what it does. The base was frankly a frozen 2-3mm cardboard circle, adequately covered, but with disappointing and very low budget ingredients. Yes it was cheap, but who wants cheap and nasty. There shouldn't be any more of these left. In fairness the chap serving was reasonably friendly, but not cut out for waiting work, no recommending, no sell more. Beer and cider was limited and we declined any dessert as the disappointment in our gut had made us full enough. Highly recommended if you yearn for the early UK...

This isn't the fanciest of restaurant by any stretch but the food is varied enough to suit most tastes if you are looking for a reasonably priced feed.We went here after a cross channel and sustenance was the goal and that goal was achieved well. The food ranges: Steak, Pasta, Omelettes, sandwiches, salads, pizza and some limited seafood. The service does the job in a no frills way, one lady seemed to manage about 50 people single handed and take it in her stride. We left satisfied and would go back for the same reason. If you are looking to delve into some great local cuisine this will probably be a bit generic for you.

I was looking for somewhere to eat that didn't have too much of a complicated menu as my French is a bit poor at best. This place was great. First off the guy front of house couldn't have been nicer given how bad my communication skills are. He was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Menu is pretty straight forward and also has English translations. Meals consisted of a Steak & Chips and a Pizza and both were very nice, couldn't fault it. Decent prices and generally an enjoyable meal. Would happily visit again.

Dinner here with 6 colleagues, with 5 of us have pizza and the others with turkey or fish. We stood up without reservation and got the usual 'zut alores' from the waitress (which was actually quite wonderful), before they liked to draw some tables together for us. Star of the evening were the pizzas and it should be the law that sells everywhere Tartiflette pizza, its devine... Great service, Fab food, very good value and good atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Book a table now

We dined there last week. A most charming owner, who made us feel very welcome with our lack of understanding of the French language. My partner had a meat pizza and I had a four cheese pizza. I can honestly say it was one of the nicest pizzas that I have ever eaten. Loads of cheese band a very good base. Not a bad bottle of wine for the price either. A quaint little place. Loved it and will definitely return before the end of our holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of food after reading some of the reviews. We visited as a family of four adults and two teenagers. There was plenty of choice of main courses and lots of ice cream for desserts. The lasagne was lovely and came out piping hot. The steak au poive was cooked exactly to our liking and the tartaflette pizza went down a treat. This restaurant was a great find and would definitely visit again.

I enjoyed the 3 cheese pizza, received the order quickly after the order. The waiter tried to speak English as well. My friend wasn't so happy though he really enjoyed his pizza, he had ordered a vegetarian pizza and came to the end... his meal discovered Pepperoni was added. He informed the waiter, received no apologies and therefore brings it to 3 stars in my opinion or would have been 5.

Sunday evening in Cherbourg are not many places to eat open. So we were excited to stumble over Le Moulin. We sailed on the coast of the Gulf of Moribhan for 2 weeks and ate in many restaurants. All the decisions made by the three of us were excellent. The staff is charming and relaxing. Especially the Pizza La Romana was possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Thank you and good luck. Stopped by for a couple of Pizza's with the wife.Pizza's tasty enough and good value for under 10 euro.I did request no olives but the pizza came with Olives anyway.Deserts - Mine was Ok but the wife's (Chocolate Brownie) looked/tasted over priced at 6.20 Service friendly enough but not a lot of English spoken.Carafe of wine .75c at 10.50 was only OK.
