Wow. Did not expect this as we were hiking through this sweet little village outside Vannes, on the Golfe du Morbihan. A real Breton oasis ! Bakery specialties--a unique coffee cake-like creation called gochtial, a yummy sweet roll called koing aman, quiches, galettes and crêpes to take home and cook up--will delight! Umbrellas tables to sit outside and have a drink. Happy waiters...everyone appreciates that in France! Place is clean, even spiffy. Someone collects old coffee grinders, on display. Postcards, lottery tickets, journal, whatever you need! Place has personality to match the staff! Don 't miss it!

We always pay a visit to Le Moulin a Café when in the area; it 's the best coffee and Far Breton!! Great choices for breads and cakes and is famous for its Gochtial de Saint Armel Breton gochtial or gwestall means bread cake . Originated here and informed by Eric it is a family recipe!!! Also available are other Breton specialities kouign amann, and mi pain mi brioche. Great atmosphere always busy with friendly and welcoming staff.

We cycled from Hezo on route to the passenger ferry. Stopped for coffee. Friendly service, reasonable price, sunny spot. Inside delicious smells of baked goods. All looked wonderful. I resisted but it was hard. Bread apple pies and cakes, plus some delicious looking savoury slice like pizza. Village has toilets.
