Great place for a leisurely lunch. Recommend getting a table outside by the water as the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains are just simply stunning. We went in mid May and couldn’t ask for a lovelier Spring Day in Annecy. We ordered our meals and they arrived very promptly. Portions were large. My wife had the Duck Confit which was cooked to perfection. For myself, i had the grilled trout with almonds which was simply delicious. As the name suggests you are likely to get good beers here. Great location and lovely atmosphere outdoors on a summer’s day. Menu covers many tastes and especially good is the tagliatelle bolognese and half rotisserie chicken. Large portions and decent prices. Their drinks menu is presented in a magazine with a huge choice. Surprisingly German bottled beers in 50cl size were significantly cheaper than draft. Can get extremely busy and the waitresses working hard can take a while to take your order or hand over your bill but the food came out piping hot and quickly.
What a disappointment Le Mumich has capitulated to popular restauration in Haite Savoie a staple of boring predicatble Fare tartiflette croziflette and trans global tat mozza sticks, onion tings and calamari rings masquerading as Tapas. Gone the original Munich fare or Choucroute Dommage !! Beer is still ok but on the Saturday evening we went no ravioli, no steak and no burger ! at least the waitress was smiley, friendly and attentive. this place is no better than 3/10 . Deserves to fail and to be avoided!
We visited Le Munich twice during our stay in Annecy. A great, cosy and characteristic bar, very close to the lake. We didn’t eat here but I had major food envy when seeing other people’s food arrive at their tables Bar staff were very friendly and were able to understand our broken French and even began pouring our next drinks when they saw us venturing to the bar again. Very cheap too we were spending no more than 10 euros a round (2 of us).

To be honest we only chose this restaurant as they had spare seats. Annecy is extremely busy and all the outdoor dining areas were packed out on the sunny day we visited. Service was ok , they were very busy. Food came pretty quickly and was nicely presented. Expensive, but so is everywhere around Annecy. Nice location overlooking the water, people watching.
This restaurant seems to have got a bad rep on this site, but I have to say our experience was very good. The fish and chips and creme brûlée were excellent as was the service. The waitress was friendly and attentive. There was a bit of a mix up over the coffees, but I think that was a cultural/language issue. We enjoyed our meal.
Le Munich is a big bar with plenty of outdoor seating that runs alongside the river. Very busy, early evening, but we managed to squeeze in. Fantastic choice of beer and I had a Monchshof Kellerbier, which certainly hit the spot. Great atmosphere and service, thoroughly recommended.

The burger was absolutely the worst burger that i have ever eaten. I also heard that the stake was poor as well.
