We had only one night to enjoy Biarritz. Our research led us to dine at Le O2 Verdun. It was the perfect choice. Francois took care of us all evening. He was both charming and perfectly attentive. He thoughtfully helped us chose our dishes (there were a couple of additions to the prixe fix menu) and Francois helped describe each dish to us because our French is not so good! Le O2 Verdun in Biarritz offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly, fast service that makes dining a pleasure. From start to finish, each dish was a delight. We began with bonbon croustillant au serano and foie gras mi-cuit maison, both starters packed with flavor and beautifully presented. For mains, the morue rôtie (roasted cod) was perfectly cooked—tender and fresh. We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and this restaurant is so worthy of the excellent comments. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and the service was impeccable from the start of the evening to the end of our wonderful evening. The choice of menu €29.90 for three courses) was minimal but what a choice! This is amazing food. A few minutes away from the busy-ness of the centre which the local people also frequent. Always a good sign of an excellent restaurant. We were so pleased that we found this gastronomic gem! This is a place for people who appreciate high-class freshly -prepared food.
We had an excellent meal at Le O2 Verdun. Every dish that the 3 of us selected was very tasty and well presented. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and were exceptionally nice to us. Above all, for the quality of food and wine served, it is particularly good value. We would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Very welcoming (during torrential rain). Food was absolutely gorgeous filo pastry Bon Bon, followed by squid. Finished off with roasted pineapple. Very friendly service, good wine. Would thoroughly recommend. Reasonably priced too
