This is a nice little stop, they stay open later than the other restaurants in the area so if you're walking around the village and enjoying an evening, it's a good place to wind up. You can eat inside or outside. Outside is nice because occasionally they'll have music on Friday nights to enjoy, and everyone comes and sits in the square with their dogs and kids and listen to music. There are also a lot of cute little shops around this restaurant. One of them is full of items completely hand made, so if you stop, definitely check out the other stores around the area. They have a few vegan options on their menu. My favorite is the hummus and olive platter. I don't prefer most of the food, (nex...

My fiancée and I stopped in Claremont after a hike at Mt. Baldy, hoping to find some vegetarian or vegan options. Unfortunately, the Loving Hut was closed until 5 PM, so we wandered into Le Pain Quotidien. The atmosphere is charming and rustic, which we appreciated. However, we ordered the Black Bean Hummus tartine for $10, and it was simply bland—just mashed black beans on subpar bread. We were quite disappointed; if we hadn't been so hungry, we might have sent it back and left. There was only one other vegetarian tartine on the menu, but I can only assume it wouldn't have been much better. If you’re seeking delicious flavors, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

With few vegan options in Claremont, I often do this LPQ quite often. Your menu is stable and reliable and has clearly identified vegan options. Your soup of the day is always vegan, and they have nice options for breakfast and lunch / dinner. I am a fan of her avocado toast and her lenses avocado salad-both are fanatic, tasteful elements! Usually I order the bakers lunch that includes a cup of soup of the day along with a half-tartone of your choice. You also have a few vegan bakery items (try the blueberry muffin! and almond milk available for drinks. Your hot chocolate with soya or almond milk is also vegan!

I had an amazing experience at Le Pain Quotidien! During my first visit, I tried the Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl and couldn’t get enough of it. The combination of dragon fruit, fresh banana, strawberries, and granola was delightful. On my second visit, I enjoyed the Zucchini Noodle Pad Thai, which had a delicious tangy flavor that I loved. However, the highlight was definitely the bakery. I had a blueberry muffin that was simply heavenly—it was just perfect! Book a table now

The service at Le Pain Quotidien can be inconsistent. The only time we experienced exceptional service was during our first visit in 2019. It's not due to a shortage of staff, as we are always patient. However, some servers, including the male supervisor, provide service that falls below average. On the positive side, the food is consistently good, and the kitchen staff is excellent.

I’ve been visiting this place for a long time. It has a charming, cozy atmosphere. I really enjoy the communal table, though the outdoor seating is lovely as well. The food is consistently delicious, but I’ve noticed the portions seem to be getting smaller—shrinkflation, perhaps? Despite that, I’ll keep coming back for the variety, the freshness, and the friendly staff.

I'm usually not into places like this, but I really loved the food! I was a little concerned it wouldn't be filling enough, but it definitely satisfied me. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal, and we all ordered very different dishes (always a good sign when everyone is happy). The prices felt fair for the area, and I was pleased with what I got.

This is my favorite place for breakfast in the area. I absolutely love the oyster mushroom omelet and avocado toast. The coffee is also fantastic!
