I write these lines for tourists who search a typical french restaurant but very cheapSituated in the heart of Versailles in the market place you can recognize its green front.The young staff of 2-3 waitress is niceFood served is simple and good like homemade salted tartes,oignon soup or fish soup,indian chicken with basmati rice,chicken scallop with mushroom cream,bavette steack with schallots sauce and potatoes,etc,,,Jazz concert every friday evening We paid 2 beers,2 main plates with 1 glass of wine and 2 desserts 29 euros with Lafourchette :)Tips is not inclued,please think of it ;)Enjoy your meal !
We were 8 adults for dinner at 7:30 p.m., this table was reserved for March 15th. When ordering, the waitress tells us for several dishes either there is only one left or there is no more, first inconvenience. Then for desserts again restrictions compared to the menu (eg: Faisselle with red fruits without red fruits) second inconvenience. This was the third time we came to this restaurant but it will be the last.
Petit restaurant proposant une cuisine française traditionnelle et au cadre très agréable. Décoration chaleureuse et originale. Accueil parfait et service efficace. Excellent rapport qualité prix avec l'offre The Fork. Mention spéciale pour le poulet à l'indienne, spécialité du chef. La tarte Tatin était délicieuse. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment chez vous et nous sommes régalés. Merci à toute l'équipe
We ate here twice in two days! Great place for lunch. All freshly made food and the fact that the place was packed with locals underlined the place was good. Croque Monsieur/Madame, tartes (quiches) were delicious, puddings were good. Great value for money. The guy who owns it does all the waiting as well so some may feel the service is a little slow but the restaurant was packed and we were in no rush.

My sister, daughter and I are from the United States and have very picky tastes! We had a wonderful relaxing dinner and drinks at this adorable little French restaurant! The food was delicious and the wine and champagne was excellent but most of all the staff were so kind and attentive to all our needs! They made us feel like we were Parisian! Small menu but very very good and the price was great!!
Accueil sympathique. Le menu est varié et complété par des plats et desserts du jour. L'ambiance est agréable et le décor chaleureux. Le service a été rapide. Plats très bons et la réduction de The Fork a été appliquée directement. 26 euros pour entrée, plat, dessert et un verre de vin, c'est raisonnable. Un établissement a recommander !
The waitress was lovely. She agreed to pick us up shortly before closing. Very welcoming, smiling and friendly!! I will come back to eat here with great pleasure. Everything was delicious, from starter to dessert.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Very French! The apple crumble was to die for. Had French onion soup, Blanquette de Veau, quiche - salmon All yum.

Had the Indian chicken and the quiches. Both were excellent. The server, possibly the owner, was patient with our lack of French skills.
