"During the week that Tina Turner died we were staying at the Hotel Westminster ate at this fantastic restaurant which is simply the best. Beats me why the chef William Elliot has only one Michelin star as his dishes are superb. Each time we come to Le Touquet I make a pilgrimage to Le Pavillon. I have le menu decouverte which is a magical mystery tour. I don't know what I'm going to eat until it is served to me. Each dish is lovingly prepared, beautifully presented delicious. The waiting staff are all delightful professional. I look forward to my next pilgrimage."

Our third dining experience at Le Pavillon, once for each time we have stayed at Le Westminster Hotel in Le Touquet. In the past, my wife has claimed that her second meal at Le Pavillon was possibly the best meal she had ever experienced. Some claim. It's expensive, but no more than the other one star and two star restaurants that have seriously drained our bank accounts. Our stay at Le Westminster has always been a pleasant one. Eating at Le Pavillon certainly enhances our stay. This latest visit saw my wife looking forward with great enthusiasm to dining once more in this fantastic restaurant. (No disrespect to the love of my life) But my wife can sometimes eat and drink me under the table...

I ate here in 2014 I had the cuisine Vins menu. It was the first time I'd had a tasting menu it totally blew me away. From then on I had tasting menus in other restaurants but none matched the one I'd had at Le Pavillon. So I had great hopes for this time round I wasn't disappointed in fact this meal was even better than the previous one. The flavours textures were well balanced, the wines were spot on the service impeccable. Some of the dishes I savoured were ormeau with passion fruit, grilled calamari with cherries girolles, a wonderful crab tortellini, a fantastic veal sweetbread with peanut ice cream a refreshing red fruit soup. This is the only restaurant I've been to which does a tastin...

We had an absolutely lovely meal here. Our table was next to the window, overlooking the garden so that was a very good start! The staff were charming; they were courteous, friendly and attentive but still managed to be unobtrusive. We chose the marine menu and it was utterly delicious, as was the sommelier’s wine recommendation. The imagination and attention to detail provided us with a memorable meal-we ate with our eyes as well as our mouths-it was just gorgeous! One little detail I loved-being English -was the serving of sauce in a little glass teapot! I shall try out that one at home!! Unfortunately that would be the only thing I could reproduce as I am nowhere near as gifted as the che...

Bit frustrating. Superb food but service tailed off as evening went on. We have eaten at lots of Michelin-starred restaurants so know how the service is meant is meant to work, but tonight it just didn’t. It was great for the first half of the evening, but then we sort of got forgotten and waiting about 40 mins between courses. I had a hair in one of my dishes which was dealt with very quickly and efficiently, but other than that we just felt neglected and it all got really slow. The food was great, but after four and a half hours we really just wanted to leave. Would recommend, but strap yourselves in for the long haul.
