It’s not a place you would normally turn up to in full ski attire but on this day we got caught out by high winds and rain forcing us off the mountain. It’s an upmarket smallish restaurant serving a good selection of local and mountain style food. Cheese featured fairly high up on the menu but there were meat options too. The cozy modern wooden panelled restaurant is bright and airy and the head waiter albeit a little slow to initially engage with you is very friendly and happy to speak in English. This is a cosy restaurant. A section of the menu allows you to grill your own food on a charcoal grill which is placed on your table. I ordered the dish with chicken and was surprised that I was served a dish with raw chicken meat and salad placed on the same dish. The raw chicken meat was served on the same plate which afterwards should be used for the salad and the grilled meat. Maybe I am a bit conservative, but this violates some basic rules on how raw chicken meat should be handled.
Staff were very friendly Setting was very nice Wine was excellent and very keenly priced which isnt often the case in ski resorts Charcuterie board entree was excellent Fondue was really tasty and the quality of the meat on the BBQ was great I would perhaps say the portion size on the mains wasn’t quite as big as spots like Au Dahu and Trappeur in the town
The food was good, no mind blowing but ok. I order one dish to share with friend, unfortunately me and my friend had to pay for 2 dishes. the waitress/owner had different opinion to us. she said that she don't mind that we didn't eat the whole dish!!! I really don't recomend this restaurant, and when you decide to eat there, be sure what you order.
