this place was hard to find, because the signage Le Petit Giverny seemed to be obstructed by overhanging tree foliage. They need to attend to this! It seems that the hotel/restaurant is now under new management and is currently somewhat run down, and in need of a lot of TLC. There was on site parking, although it wasn 't particularly secure, at the back of the hotel/restaurant, and this area was very unkempt and in need of refurbishment. Still there was parking, which was appreciated. I booked this hotel on booking.com and told them i would be arriving between 10-11pm. That was all fine and agreed on. A couple of days later, i arrive and booking.com call me to say that hotel has actually cancelled our booking and the hotel now wont give us our money back. They stole our money! I checked my emails, the instructions and notes we got and also the reviews of this hotel, just in case it was us making the mistake but it turns out they have done this to several other people too! Surprised they haven’t been caught out yet. Dont make the same mistake and let them screw you over too! Avoid this hotel!
Siamo stati a cena (il pranzo è sovraffollato, data la quantità di turisti che vanno a vedere i giardini di Monet che è a due passi) e l'atmosfera è molto quieta con il giardino che circonda i tavoli.Il cibo è gustoso, nota di merito agli spiedini di pollo e di manzo alla griglia.I prezzi non sono modici, ma neanche esagerati: menu da 18€ per un antipasto e un secondo (a scelta tra due proposte), 25€ se si vuole anche il gelato o il formaggio. The service was ok, but the food was disgusting. I can’t believe they have a chef in the kitchen. I had a tarte with tuna and chorizo which was probably prepared a day or 2 ago and heated in a microwave. Socking wet and full of grease on my plate. After one bite I had enough. Childrens menu was chips without any sauce with a burned chickenskewer, again without sauce. The oysters weren’t cold. This place is a joke, Sorry for the hard working waitresses.

limited menu with a few good choices , well prepared by the son of a family which has always been in the restaurant business for decades . A place where you can also meet a lot of neighbours and chat with them . Garden is super but in october , we were inside because of weather conditions . Not too many places inside but cosy atmosphere. Sorry it is closes from 1st november to next april22.
Excellent service avec des propriétaires charmants dotés d'un bon sens de l'humour. Un petit resto très agréable idéalement situé avec un magnifique jardin. Bref, un joli petit coin de Normandie. La canicule nous a empêché de déguster les grillades... Salade gourmande donc et qui porte bien son nom. Courrez-y !
Cadre agréable.J'ai pris le menu à 18 euros.apres l'entrée je n'avais déjà plus faim!La brochette de poulet était très bonne au si que les pommes de terre.J'ai été déçue par la salade gourmande de mon mari tres peu copieuse .Du coup il a fini mon assiette!
Restaurant situé dans un cadre touristique avec les prix qui vont avec. Le plat ( saucisse et pomme de terre) était convenable mais sans plus. La salade qui l'accompagnait baignait dans la sauce. Gérants agréables.

While the atmosphere is very nice and not so busy, the food is average. If you do not expect mouth watering food, this is a good choice in Giverny with friendly staff
