Delicious Vietnamese food and the ice cream is pretty good too! I’m from California near Little Saigon and I’ve had some pretty good Vietnamese food and this place is in the top 5 for me. Didn’t think I’d be eating great, legit Vietnamese in the small French town of Gorde but life is full of fun, unexpected surprises. Gorde is a such a beautiful cliffside town! English speakers beware, everyone speaks only French here. Most of the tourists here are locals from France.
Best ice cream ever. All the family went for two scoops each and we loved it! We tried in no particular order nougat, calisson, amarina, lemon, melon, while chocolate, mojito, and I’m probably missing a few hah. The place doesn’t look like they’re serving a piece of gem, it’s a very tiny and modest stall with a few tables and chairs, yet we had a blast. Surely we’ll go for a second round before leaving the area. I highly recommend this parlor.

We enjoyed lunch here on our last day in France. The Croque Monsieur sandwich special was delicious. The Salade Italienne was a work of art, beautifully presented with fresh ingredients. We had lavender gelato which was also quite good. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and our server was efficient and friendly. Book a table now
Great little icecream spot in the centre of town lots of flavours, and much needed on how day! Top tip don’t eat it u see the shade provided, head to the other side of the roundabout and eat it in the shade of the castle! It’s much cooler in the shade there
Extremely slow and confused service. They took forever to serve 3 croque monsieurs, and even mixed the orders with the table next to us blaming us for the mixup. Alltogether sadly inefficient.
discovered by chance. very kind and friendly service. Despite the world, the boss takes the time to come and tell you a little word. Ice creams are excellent though a little expensive.
