We had dinner with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday on a wet and windy November. Clearly we had to eat indoors, which was warm and cosy, as was the welcome we received. The food was excellent (I had an exquisite veal sweetbreads washed down...with a value for money Pecharmant. A little amuse-bouche to start with was delightful too, and desserts were to die for (including a Grand Marnier souffle). This was as good a meal as we had eaten in four consecutive years of dining out in the Dordogne. Absolutely worth a visit
We tried times to come before, it was always full but yesterday we were lucky! The setting is beautiful, lovely village in a beautiful area. The restaurant itself is very well designed, smart but sober. The welcome was top! The aperitif maison was excellent...and the food was very good from the starter to the souffe au grand marnier without forgetting the rabbit. We will be back as there are not many restaurants in the area which can compete with this one! Make sure that you reserve ealry.
A hidden gem in a delightful village. The food is outstanding, a mixture of traditional French with some Asian influences. We enjoyed lunch so much we returned two more times for dinner. The owners care about their customers and take the time to discuss the...food, the accompanying wine recommendations and are always keen to know what people think. The village is lovely and provides a beautiful backdrop to the meal. If you are in the area do not hesitate to visit.
Lovely setting in the centre of Daglan. Reservation made with ease. Outside seating on a beautiful summer's evening all made for a perfect setting for what was to come....attententive service and wonderful food presented beautifully. Amuse bouche started our little culinary journey. The beef was...tender and sea bream was delicious, all washed down with a refreshing glass of champagne. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
