Le Pied Dans Le Plat

We ate here twice in large groups, and the food came out hot and fresh. Some of us speak French, which made things easier, but they explained everything that we did not know, very kindly. I am allergic to seafood and when I ordered a salad without the anchovies, they added some ham to it as a substitute. Other places we ate in the region did not offer this, which is fine, but the staff here did something a little extra for me, which was nice. Located on the square in the centre of the village. Lovely setting, tranquil and so pretty (we were lucky to have a duo playing cool music when we ate). The staff are so nice, the food simple but oh my goodness cooked and presented so well. 2 x galettes were crisp and full. Moules big and crisp fries. Best of all crepe was gluten free, important for coeliac daughter. You, will not be dissapointed.

Visited with my brother and enjoyed a quality lunch for €12 each. I had tuna salad followed by Basque Galette savoury crepe then 3 types of sweet mini pancakes. Just great natural simple food. Clarinet and guitar players with 7 fountains centre piece set off the scene! What more could you want?

Not a good choice, we went for the mussels and fries, and the quality was not great, mussels were swimming in oil. Perhaps a bad menu choice, but the host of our local accomodation was not very complimentary about the place. Service was okay, but would not go back.
