Le Port du Moulin - Table reservation

we have found ourselves in france for birthday and decided to visit champtoceaux and find the moulin pendu on the loire. to our joy we found the restaurant le port du moulin with view of the moulin pendu and the loire river, the perfect environment for a birthday. In the evening the owner was friendly, cheerful and helpful and has set us on the terrace with a view of the beautiful landscape. we started with a prominent one and then enjoyed a shrimp amusement bouche. one of us got the kabeljau and the other the ente confit served with a moist mild roggenbrot. my man got peach melba dessert and I got chocolate ice cream as it was my birthday. the restaurant filled quickly, but the man managed...

charming little restaurant in a pleasant location at the far of the loire, where I had great expectations, but found the eating uninspiring and the house white wine was quite unpleasant. this place has great potential, but I would not go back until the dinge jonathan improves. cuteton

as a party we enjoyed this restaurant very much. Maybe we had luck as we had the best table in the house, with a view of the river. the waiter was in a relaxed wise charming. eating was very easy, but very good and we wanted for free. we all agree that we would go back.

Accueil sympathique et service convivial. Anguilles excellentes et cuisson tout à fait a point. Dessert bien élaboré.
