We really loved this place, so much we returned the following night. Husband kitchen) and wife front of house) though they could do with one extra on the floor! Under pressure during service! Great food very personal and inventive, blackboard menu changes nightly, it’s a bit off the beaten track but I highly recommend you book it when visiting Saumur.
Our second visit to this little gem in beautiful Saumur and we were not disappointed. The menu was diverse and the food was well prepared, presented and just delicious. The lady and the young chap who served us were very efficient and friendly, they worked very hard on a very warm evening!
Le Pot de Lapin is a must visit restaurant when you are around Saumur. Super good food and great wine selection, friendly staff and very cosy atmosphere. You wouldn't think it's a good restaurant while passing by but I give 5 starts for the quality of the food. Definitely coming back.

Ate at Le Pot de Lapin last night. Brilliant inventive menu. Attentive, considerate and amusing service, especially as our french was not up to a detail understanding of the menu. If not already guessed highly recommended.

Unpretentious place with creative food. Great outdoor seating. Not good for vegetarians though. NO starters or main courses without meat or fish. Book a table now
