"Great little place near the Basilique. Friendly staff, great food and nice ambiance on the terrace out front. We were looking for something simple and hadn’t had an omelette all holiday! Was delicious and cooked perfectly. Mousse au chocolat didn’t disappoint either."

Each year as we head back to the boat we stop off for lunch in Le Pressoir before heading for the 6pm boat in Cherbourg. We were a bit disappointed, as there was no lunch as such, just an a la carte. So, we ordered the magret de canard and a camembert salad. They were both just superb. I had the creme brûlée as I have in the past and it is still the biggest I have ever been served in France. Overall a wonderful experience , yet again. Parking is great as there is an area for cars just outside the door.

We called into here after another day of visiting the museums of the D Day landings. The food was excellent and the beers flowed down a treat. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were there well past the closing time of the restaurant. The owners made us most welcome and we would have visited again had we been staying in the area any longer.

Impeccably clean, unpretentious and well-organised restaurant with vivacious obliging waitress and skilful chef, the cuisine is extremely nice and attractively-presented galettes. Would definately go again and it had been recommended by another restaurant which had been fully-booked. Parking immediately outside.
