My husband and I read the reviews for this place so we decided to have lunch there today. We tried to reserve, but I think we called too early. It was a very snowy day today, so we hoped the restaurant would have a table for two available. We got there at noon, which was early for lunch, so we were lucky because even with the snow, all the tables for two were gone by 12:30. We both love to taste everything so we split two menus, one with the appetizer main course and the other with the main course dessert. We had chosen to meet in Thionville as a small family group, in order for us all to drive only half way. Not knowing this city at all, we have trusted the Tripadvisor ranking and we were not disappointed at all. Food was really excellent, staff extremely friendly and very professionnal. Special mention for their open mindness : it says vegeterians welcome on the Internet webpage and it is absolutely true. We have one family member who is a complete vegetarian and the chef arranged something extra especially for her. My advice : do not show up there without a reservation, you would be disappointed to find the restaurant full and obliged to find a Plan B....

Now I understand, why this restaurant is always fully booked (weekends) excellent food and good value for money. No fussy cuisine but still original.....relaxed and cozy atmosphere. We will back!!

We were received friendly but not enthusiastic. The meat was high quality and cooked well, but not really spiced. The atmosphere was tame. The wines were correct but not special.

Very Good french food. Honest price for what you get. Plates are big enough. Very kind people. I’ll go back
