Today while heading down the canal, the boat behind us shouted to say that there was a little restaurant that they had been recommended to stop at. As it was lunchtime and the locks closed, we decided why not. We moored up on the other side of the bridge. As we walked closer, we thought we had made a mistake, however the owner, chef and waiter came over and welcomed us. He promptly cleaned a table for us and explained that food was available, but there was no menu you get what is on (a three course meal, bread, wine and drink to finish all for €12!! We had a veals head terrine, with salad to start followed by beef, potato wedges and dressing, with a caramel ice cream and scoop of pear sorbet...
