Le P’tit Bouchon is a lovely little spot in Gourdon which offers delicious homemade food. Sitting outside was an enjoyable way of people-watching while we had our meal. Service was efficient and very friendly. Although the staff couldn’t speak English very well, they were so patient and cordial with my not-so-perfect French. Now, let’s talk about the food. I only have one word to describe it: SUPERB! My son and husband both had the Coq Au Vin, which was so freshly made and flavorful; it was like your own mother had lovingly cooked it for you. We picked up our friend who had just arrived on a train from Normandy from Gourdon station at 8pm and wanted to eat there rather than after a 40 minute drive home. Found this little place and decided to give it a try. I didn’t feel very optimistic to tell the truth. It looked empty. Not a good sign! Then we saw food being carried upstairs and realised the main eating area was up there and actually the place was full! Staff pleasant and helpful. The online booking through The Fork worked perfectly. We had a delicious soup, followed by wonderfully tender entrecôte steaks with nice salad and chips and one of us had the tete de veau. Recommended by a close friend who lives near to Gourdon, we took our family who were staying for a short holiday. Lovely, friendly and attentive staff, great menu and lovely wines. We copted for a main and a dessert on the menu and all loved our choices. The wine was delightful and not a disappointment. And, although I speak little French it was not a problem and the staff helped us out with a smile. As we live outside Gourdon, I would not hesitate to return very soon to this charming little gem of a restaurant.
Came across this place just from luck as the place we planned to go to was closed. Food, service were excellent and the menu was varied; I’m sure there was something to suit all tastes. When we arrived at 19.00 it was empty and when we left at 20.30 it was about 90% full on a Wednesday. Prices were very reasonablle, and for example the salade italienne in the photo was €16. A bright, fresh interior (upstairs) a good ambience and conviviality. Service for our group of 6 was a bit slow especially for desserts. The menu was simple, fairly regional and the kids enjoyed the children's menu. Reasonable value for money.
We do love this place for lunch, it does excellent 'assietes ' of the region and enormous salads which contain so many yummy things! Atmosphere and wine choice is great, food is good value for money and service is always warm and friendly.
This restaurant had an amazing long menu but because we showed up late for lunch, there was only the Menu du Jour available. It was delicious! 3 courses for about 14 Euros. It was absolutely delicious and we couldn't have eaten any more.
We stopped in for dinner when in town. The place was pretty empty, but we were likely on the early side, and we got a lovely table upstairs right by the window. The service was friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere was lovely.

Have eaten here several times and the food has always been excellent, Service is always good too. Menu is varied and if your looking for a burger they have a few choices. Without doubt the best burgers in town.
Took our grown up family for dinner to celebrate them visiting. Superb menu and great service. You need to reserve a table. For younger kids they even have a kids menu. cuisse de canard is excellent!
