This unpretentious local restaurant way outperformed our expectations. A short menu, perfectly executed and warm, friendly and efficient service made for a truly memorable evening with extended family. The wines available by the carafe were excellent cheaper than we had found in the supermarket and frankly compared favourably with what my wine buff husband can buy en primeur. We had an award winning bar manager in our midst and she was equally in pressed by the welcome and the offering. Such a peaceful spot, and beautifully screened from the road. We cannot rave about it highly enough.

This was one of these days when you stop by, drop in and get a lunch was delivered way, way over expectations! My wife ordered Camembert de Normandie served with salad, dried meat and what happened to be a legendary vinagrette. Frites on the side. I ordered carpaccio de bueuf, coming out as an artwork delivered with perfection. The waitress, the chef and the whole party of food experts delivered with pasion and utter quality. Being in the area for a couple of days more, we are in for tomorrows lunch too! Jeeez! Thank you guys!

A must visit restaurant when in the Saint Emilion area. We keep coming back to first class cousine lunch or dinner. Today a Camembert salad for my wife, fillet of duck for me. Both brilliantly made. Superb service, desserts and coffee! Colours of accessories, salat ingredients and vinagrettes! What do they do in that kitchen? So visual. Utterly tasteful. Todays wine was a Flaujagues rosé, l’Enpreinte Roseé. Stunning taste, highly recommendable. A great lunch on a bank holiday monday. We’ll be back later this summer!

Superb food, excellent selection ond quality of everything, 10 of us were beautifully catered for, 3 generations were all delighted by Audrie and her accurate descriptions and recommendations. We were so impressed by the chef in this lovely village restaurant, a real find! Also had a menu du jour a few days earlier which was also superlative.
