We travelled up from Nice for a day’s skiing and as it happened the weather was bitterly cold. We called time on the skiing at lunch and popped into this restaurant once we’d changed out of our ski boots. Having visited for dinner on our...previous stays in Auron we knew how popular it is. We were fortunate to get a table and were made to feel welcome. The menu du jour on represents exceptional value for money when compare with the pistes and our pork main course was delicious. Will definitely return again. I feel slightly reticent about singing it’s praises as next time we might not be so lucky to get a table without a reservation! I can't decide what's the best thing in this place: the stunning view of the mountains, the cozy environment or the tasty food. Everything it's perfect. I ordered the traditional Raclette and it's just delicious - I highly recommend it.
great place here in late november, shortly after the first snow of the year. fabulous tartiflette, big wein, and easy the best cafe girl I ever had. I'll be back soon!
the menu is short and brilliant and also offers “Mountain Specials”. venison excellent. lamb curry as it should be. desserts raised.
