Discovered a few years ago, the rouquin is a restaurant as we love them. Built by lovers of cuisine and wine, the owners mainly work on a short circuit to offer you the best products of Niort and its surroundings. On the programme, good cuisine that often blends textures and tastes to perfection. All is sublimated by the wines offered by the boss. The service is friendly and professional. On noon, a formula of 20 euros (entrance/plat/dessert) is proposed. Value for money is unbeatable for the quality of the dishes served. The reservation is highly recommended.
2nd visit, a real treat, homemade cuisine with fresh products, quality meat (specially for Italian tartare, cut with knife, served with homemade fries and a seasoned salad), original desserts, impeccable service, very pleasant interior and superb terrace !
While passing through Niort on a gray day, we found this restaurant and what a pleasant surprise! Delicious and aesthetic cuisine (perfect cooking of the duck! an excellent tartare). A must-see in Niort! a large choice of natural wines. THANKS !
Excellent cuisine and very good service. Quite noisy room, too bad, I can't wait for the terraces behind to be open. Price-wise: really quality dishes, but €45 without aperitifs and wine...
