No vegetarian options, unless you believe (as the staff do) that fish are vegetables. On the plus side, the waitresses were thoroughly obnoxious, thus ensuring the warm welcome for which the French are renowned. I'll be sure to return, most likely in the 23rd century or when hell freezes over, whichever is soonest.
They are showing all the matches. I watched the French beat Argentina here: what an atmosphere. The terrace was packed as they had put a large screen outside. Watching the Germans getting defeated by the Koreans was nearly as good. Great beer selection and very friendly and helpful staff and locals!
It seems this Pub is busy every night of the week! A good mix of after work businessmen, youngsters out for some fun, everyone really. A lot of people eat, and most sit at a table, but there is seating at the bar or you can just sit at the table and have a beer, including their own local bitter.
It's beome a bit of a regular for me and I'd reccomend it to anyone. Charming fun staff, good food and great draft lager. They really will go the extra mile for you here and are always cheerful and welcoming. Halloween was an absolute ball! Good place to watch the football and the rugby as well!
