Had Sunday lunch here for the second time in a week, first time had family from UK stopping (they had burger and rated it as the best they had tried, ever!) but today just us ( a romantic lunch !). This is the best restaurant for miles ! I am vegetarian (no meat or fish) very difficult in this part of France but have found the best veggie burgers, all hand made and different flavours and the best homemade "real" chips ! My husband had the fish and half of my veggie burger (he said it was for research purposes!!), then Pavlova for desert and David's legendary coffee! Wonderful food, wine, coffee and atmosphere, David and Rosie are wonderful hosts, you arrive as customers and leave as friends...

I am a regular at Le Pukeko in Prayssac, with good reason. It's always reliably good, with a fixed menu. Also David makes the best Cappuccino for at least 30 kilometres around. Equally popular with native French, ex-pat residents like me, and tourists. David and Rosie moved Pukeko here from their previous location 4 Km away in Puy L'Eveque and have retained their old loyal customers and acquired many more. Give it a try!

We visited on a very busy sunny evening with no reservation. Tip: make a reservation. It's worth it. No fuss menu, and good tasty fare. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her fish and chips and hubby and I loved our burgers. I know we are in France, but sometimes you come across gems like this restaurant: uncomplicated honest cravefood. Friendly service, good timing. We'll be back!

Very friendly staff and beautiful sunny terrace for family drinks after the market. Good selection of wines and beers and very reasonably priced considering the location
