This really wonderful restaurant is in a small town next to Thiers and about 10 minutes or less from the autoroute. After Clermont Ferrand and well before St.Etienne, we stop off here every year (a trip we normally make twice a year) while heading south. Lunch time meals are terrific and served in a beautifully renovated restaurant that includes a large outdoor terrace for good weather. Everything we've ever eaten here has been very good. As usual, we almost always take a plat or menu du jour. This time we ate for 49 Euros, which included a glass of wine for me and dessert. We were invited this day and we discovered your establishment... we were submitted! Rare are the establishments that combine as many qualities: a modern kitchen that is pleasant to the palate and to the eye (e.g., stirred foie gras scalope and veal ris), a smiling and efficient staff, a room with trendy but sober decoration, a chef who gives himself the desire to make a visit to the room. Still, we think, an impressive work in progress, this three part hotel restaurant part classically styled, part lighter and brighter and part outside under parasols proved a delight when we visited for dinner. Select the area that suits your mood. It's frequented by hotel visitors and locals alike which suggests it's of good quality and acceptably priced. We found the service excellent but not overpowering, the food unusual enough to be interesting and the portions on the right side of adequate. Overall a lovely ambience. Pink Palace? You'll work it out when you get there!
Very good table with specialities of the region. St. Nectaire's crunchy pig feet are delicious, as well as sausage tatin. The menu is varied and offers nice dishes, earth-sea mixtures among others. The wine map is overall good with references from all over the affordable price. A little disappointed by the desserts that are good but not at the level of the rest. The win and service is correct, no more.

We have been here before 2 years ago. This restaurant belongs to the Hotel Ecotel in Peschadoires. We stayed here 3 nights on our way to the south of France. We had dinner here every night of our stay and it was all great! I can recommend this place, both the restaurant and the hotel! Very friendly service.
A very good address, family meals in the veranda where we were very well installed. Tasty and refined cuisine is succulent and very well presented. The service is very pleasant, in short an address to know.
