We read the reviews on tripadvisor and thought it was worth a try out. Really enjoyed the food . They BBQ the food in a very hot clay oven and the food is delicious. The setting is pretty outside and all the statue animals in the restaurant make it entertaining for children . I enjoyed a fan ocean salad it had lots of small scallops and prawns for a starter to share . The faux filet steak was excellent my husband had a burger which he enjoyed . The menu is all in French and the staff did not speak great English , so ordering was a lot of guess work. It's also a five minute drive out of Gerardmer, probably a little far to walk. We enjoyed the experience and would return
in weekends in the Vosges and after the comments read on tripadvisor we reserved a table for 7pm. We're getting our dishes, it's 7:10. We'll drink our wine with the meal, tanpis! we hadn't finished chewing that the servers are already there to remove the plates! Anyway, so until the end...We go to the restaurant to be relaxed, eat without rushing and there it was the reverse, much too fast! certainly a second service after us but pushing people so it's almost energizing. Too bad because our dishes were good. We would have preferred to be able to taste them only to swallow them.
meals this Thursday 17/08 noon, in a very kind personal terrace, listening and with the smilecommand taken very quickly and fast service. The burgers are a real delight, at a very reasonable price. Arrived at 1pm, left at 2pm (no dessert, just a coffee)I strongly recommend this address
we came to dinner at 6 with friends and had a very good evening: the dishes were good and the service was kind and fast. You can see the cooks in the wood oven, it's very nice. You smell the grilled meat when you get out, but it's worth it!

We had a very good night. grilled meat is very good with quality meat. We also tasted local beers that are extra.There is even a terrace for the beautiful days.
