This is the kind of restaurant we are always searching for on our excursions in the countryside but sometimes are so hard to find. One of our better meals so far. Simple, not expensive and delicious. We had a sweet/savory dish of ginnea fowl with lots of veggies and a lamb shank with the best mashed potatoes I've ever had -- excellent. And the frois gras to start was wonderful as well. Creme Brûlée with peaches was great. The server helped us with the menu in English. Looking forward to our return.
We stayed in Moret for a couple of nights and found this absolute gem.Family owned and run, it provided us with a real French culinary experience on both nights. Doing our best with pigeon French we made the simple choice of the "specials" for each of the 3 courses, which were different on each night dependant upon what was available fresh to the chef.Incredibly good value and so welcoming - in 2 nights we felt like privileged special local guests!
N'hésitez à pousser la porte de ce petit resto à la carte resserrée car produits frais, 1 choix parmi 4 entrées, 4 plats et 4 desserts. Serveuse souriante, accueillante et attentionnée. Les rognons à la moutarde à l'ancienne avec purée maison , le médaillon de veau au romarin sont excellents. Petit bémol sur la surcuisson du dos de merlu.
Do not hesitate to push the door of this small restaurant with a tight card because fresh products, 1 choice among 4 entries, 4 dishes and 4 desserts. smiling, welcoming and attentive waitress. the old mustard kidneys with homemade purée, the rosemary calf medallion is excellent. small apartment on the top of the merlu dos.

La formule entrée plat et dessert est d un très bon rapport qualité prix j' ai trouve le supplément à payer pour le moelleux qui en plus était très liquide, un peu abusé . L entrée et le plat étaient très bon. Le personnel très poli et le cadre très bien aussi. A recommander.

Moments de partage entre amis autour de plats aux saveurs subtiles préparés avec des produits frais. Un menu facile à choisir, des prix mets et vins très corrects. Soirée cocooning au Refuge !
