Truly a fantastic experience every time we come here. We are regulars and hold the excellent quality of the cuisine and the great service in high esteem. The menu features Italian and regional (Ticino) dishes prepared to a very high standard with attention to every detail. Presentation is great too. The staff is as friendly as professional. You would expect to find this kind of cuisine in a high class restaurant in Milan or Rome. So great it is available in Lugano with the splendid view on Monte San Salvatore. The quality of the food was very good, no technical errors. The loin of venison was extremely tender, and at the guest's request, mashed potatoes and red cabbage were also served. Also excellent as a starter is the pappardella filled with lobster, its bisque, porcini mushrooms and nepitella, and the Bellini peach as a dessert. Good range of wines by the glass. Very nice ambience and nice service. But: the food does not correspond to a meal from a restaurant which calls itself gourmet . We had the vegano menu and both cannot recommend it.
