Visited on a Sunday. Very nice restaurant (300 covers! The place is appreciated with the proximity of the Château de la Roche. Welcome very pleasant by a cohort of servers. The atmosphere is unfortunately noisy due to the number of taboos (including large groups). The entire room is not equipped with an acoustic ceiling. On the kitchen, prices are fairly high, in contradiction with the contents of the plate (in our case of course, the other menus are probably more elaborate. Choices 1 and 2 : a piece of meat served with the equivalent of a small fries barquette and a very small ramequin of lettuce/tomate a small part of tatin pie: almost € 30. Choice 3: Vegetarian plate... Big disappointment...
We stopped my wife and I at the castle relay. reception by staff was very well, the presence of our little French bulldog did not pose any problems well on the contrary. owners are very human and love our friends animals. the frame is fabulous, the dishes were too delicious and copied, we even returned with a deer bag for the evening meal. It is a family restaurant, with a human dimension that really deserves the detour. We were very surprised by some criticisms that are not justified. proof being that the restaurant was crowded and that many regulars were among the guests. even epicurean, I strongly recommend this address to make your personal opinion.
The dishes were really not bad apart from the frogs which didn't convince anyone. Eating one evening in summer on the terrace is really not pleasant due to the pergola which keeps out the noise and especially the midges. And midges that invite themselves to your floating island...
