"We are en route back to UK from Spain. Forgot how difficult it is to find restaurants open on Sunday night in rural areas. Luckily were advised to try here. We had Le Terrior set menu. Oh delicious escargot followed by confit of duck then cheeses. €130 a bargain. The Beef was cote de boeuf for two people, again great value. A memorable evening and meal"

The Michelin Guide steered us off the motorway a good 30-40 minutes south of Bordeaux on to secondary roads and we arrived here at 1245 securing the next to last parking space. From the moment we entered the door, the greeting was warm and genuine. We were delighted to be able to eat outside on a warm day in early May. The grounds are beautifully maintained and are very inviting. The menu is fairly extensive featuring many dishes from the local terroir. My wife and I both had thick pork cutlets that were delicious. We stayed at the Hotel Le Resinier for one night. The hotel was chosen on the strength of its restaurant reviews and we were not disappointed! The restaurant has an open kitchen and it was interesting to see the interaction between the kitchen staff as the food.was prepared. The menu can be found on the hotel website and we had a fair idea of what to expect. The wine is reasonably priced and unusually for France includes a selection of overseas wines. For food we went for Les Suggestions Terre ou Mer at 35 euros for two courses, although less expensive options were available. My wife had the Saint Jacques aux cepes followed by the pave dorade and I had fois gras poele followed by the demi ma...

We ate here during our bicycle trip. We also stayed in the hotel, but I give it another rewiew because the restaurant was excellent, the hotel was not the same. We had a three course meny and the waiters were very kind and polite evev if their english could have been better. We got a some small degustation between the dishes we ordered, and everything was very tasteful. We can really recommend this restaurant to you. Soem peolple wrot that the coffe was expensive, but we got it togheter with dried friut, a small chocolate mousse, some cakes and nuts. Very tasty.

We stopped here on our way to Spain. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped there again on our return! The hotel is wonderful and has a lovely pool. We had a family room and took our dog the hotel was very accommodating with him. Our meals were incredible. Delicious. It is a bit pricey but the food is well worth it. We look forward to stopping there again.
