The Retro is not a gourmet restaurant where you go to eat well. It is a small neighbourhood restaurant that offers fine dishes and menus for a very reasonable price. And that's all we ask him. The service is very fast. The restaurant breezes all kinds of public (offices nearby, many yards around, historic Portuguese neighborhood of Gentilly) and the atmosphere is good child. The little room in the background is a little loud and we can talk loud. In the summer there is a small terrace, invisible to the street, which is friendly and very quickly filled. A good address for a cheap lunch.
I eat regularly in this restaurant at noon. Food without being transcendent is correct. The service is a little slow. On the other hand, the room is very noisy. I really don't recommend the room in dependency, or there's a lot of echoes we barely hear each other. The card without being inventive is complete and regularly updated with some Portuguese specialties. In short if you go around and want to find a correct brewery why not try the retro.
Petit resto sans prétention, in a neighbourhood visibly invested by the Portuguese community. Very friendly welcome, honest and generous kitchen for a very reasonable price! Well clean premises. We're like home! Ideal for a lunch!
