Behind the rather unassuming exterior sits one of the better restaurants of the area. We had the set menu here (gazpacho of green tomatoes, veal cutlet with olive and potato mash) which was excellent, friendly waitress recommend the wine which was fine too. Apart from the menu there are also plates with grilled fish or meats. A simple formula but all very tasty. Only bum note was the moelleux which was more of a chocolate cake. (still tasty though). Would eat here again, no doubt.

Le Retro c'est la France disparu...The cuisine delicious, the open wine was not, and the whole place was somehow like la France profonde with a touch of neighbourhood. We had a nice evening there with a friend just arrived from Germany, and she was really impressed of the quality. All food was homemade, the small countryside city so authentic.
